We have had a Ladies' Department at Smith & Smith Ltd for about 15 years - although we never forget that we are primarily a Gentleman's Shop! We sell mainly classic styles, skirts, trousers, knitwear, and blouses, aimed at ladies who want quality garments that will stand the test of time, wear well, and not date. We have recently started to sell jewellery to compliment our ranges. There is a comfortable settee where husbands can read the paper while waiting patiently for their wives and partners. If we are not too busy they might even be offered a cup of coffee!

Ladies' Trousers by Slimma We find that the Slimma trouser suits many of our ladies. It is available in an easy care Polyester/Viscose/Elastane blend. In the winter months we have an excellent selection of Slimma corduroy trousers.
Ladies' Jewellery & Gifts A selection of jewellery made from Sterling Silver set with semi-precious stones. At reasonable prices, this jewellery makes a very exceptable gift for any woman. (and you don't need to worry if the size is right)!
The scarves are by Dents & other suppliers. We will be adding to this selection in the near future.
Ladies' Socks We stock the very popular 'Soft top' socks from H J Hall which are excellent if you have to have a sock which is not too tight on your leg. These are available in a selection of colours and designs. If you would like a bit of luxury we are proud to be able to offer a range of socks from Pantherella which are available in cashmere, wool or cottons. Something for everyone..........
Ladies' Underwear We do not stock a huge range of underwear for women, but we do find both the Sloggi ranges and the Magic Knickers are very popular.
Ladies Hats by Olney Ideal for all ages.....the waxed hats by Olney are one size -there is an internal elasticised headband - suitable for town or country, while the stylish panamas are available in two sizes.
